title sequence - sound analysis

this sequence is a great demonstration of the use of sound in an opening or title sequence. the partnership between the sound and the visuals is vital when attempting to create an atmosphere. in this case the music is building tension, it seems to be progressing whilst seeming to become more and more manic. along with this the visuals are also building as something or someone seems to be unfolding. the screen is also very dark and is black for the majority of the time which is matched to the choice of soundtrack, just from the soundtrack you get the feel that the film will me a dangerous, action packed, thriller type film.
